• Phoneme Segmentation: students will write the sounds of each word. They can also use magnetic letters or letter tiles to build the words and practice phoneme segmentation and blending. (There are only 3 sounds, so only 3 spaces. The silent e should go with the final letter.
• Writing: students write the word by saying the sounds in the word. (There are only 3 sounds so only 3 spaces. The silent e should go with the final letter)
• Puzzles: in this challenging activity, students will assemble puzzles to make CVCE words!
• Spin and Color: students spin, say the picture and color the word.
• Write The Room: students find silent-e word pictures posted around the room and write the word.
• Phoneme substitution: students will change 1 sound to make a new word.
• Say It! Write It! Clip It: students will read the CVCE word, spell the word and clip the correct picture.
