Subtracting Monkeys FREEBIE!

This subtraction resource gives students hands-on, engaging practice with subtracting and taking away!  Print and laminate the monkeys. Cut out the monkeys and attach a piece of Velcro to the back. Student chooses a card, reads the equation, and puts the correct number of monkeys on the tree. Then subtract the correct number of monkeys by removing them from the tree and write the answer.

If you do not have the Velcro palm tree, attach magnets to the monkeys and use the included palm tree on your whiteboard/chalkboard!
