Shape Monsters Freebie

This activity is great for introducing shapes and their attributes. It’s also great for introducing the skill of using shapes to create larger pictures.

Students cut out the shapes and assemble them into shape monsters. Just copy each shape on different colors and then the students assemble their shape monsters using strips of black paper for the arms and legs.

Students can then count, graph, and write how many shapes were used.
