Pattern Block Animal Mats And Counting Cube Animal Mats
This low-prep blocks activity is perfect to use all year long! Keep your kids engaged and learning. All you need to do is print, laminate, and add pattern blocks or counting cubes, snap cubes, or unifix cubes.
This pattern blocks and counting cubes resource includes 66 animal cards for students to make. The pictures are NOT to scale. This is intentional to make the activity more challenging for students. Students will not place the blocks on the cards. Instead, they will use the cards as a guide to build the picture using the blocks. (They can place the blocks on the cards, but they won’t fit perfectly!)
Also included are two recording sheets so students can count and write how many of each pattern block or snap cube they used. The color version should be laminated, and students can use dry-erase markers to write down the numbers.
These pattern blocks and counting cubes activities are perfect for centers, early finishers, morning bins, STEM BINS and indoor recess!
