This insects research project will bring some insects fun into your classroom! Students will research and write about insects using read alouds, videos, and graphic organizers. Students will record their learning in the insect research journal. This research project is differentiated and contains a variety of options for differentiation and meeting the needs of all students.
This unit contains materials to do a research project on insects in general and includes options for 8 specific insects including: ants, mosquitoes, dragonflies, fireflies, praying mantises, flies, beetles, and ladybugs.
