Digital Weather Research Project
This digital Weather Research Project will engage students by making research and writing developmentally appropriate in the classroom and in distance/remote learning. It is designed so students can research and write different elements of our weather including weather words, the sun, the wind, tornadoes, clouds, rain, snow, thunderstorms, meteorologists, and the water cycle.
It is designed to be used in Seesaw or Google Slides. We've also included image files, that you can import into other platforms.
Included In This Digital Research Project Are:
- graphic organizers
- writing pages
- a science experiment
- the water cycle
- daily weather observation journal
Also Included:
- A folder with hall recording sheets in PDF format that can be shared with families.
- Image files to load on student devices or to use on additional platforms.
The research is conducted with read-aloud and videos. Learning is recorded on graphic organizers and in student research journals.
