Digital African American Heroes Research Project
This DIGITAL black history month research-creation is designed so students can research and write about 17 different African-American heroes. It is designed to make research and writing developmentally appropriate and engaging for students in the classroom and/or in distance/remote learning. It is designed to be used in Seesaw or Google Slides. We've also included image files, that you can import into other platforms.
The research is conducted with read-aloud and videos. Learning is recorded on graphic organizers and in student research journals. You can focus on one hero for the duration of the project or study multiple heroes with this flexible resource!
