Math It Up! Patterns

These pattern worksheets and hands-on pattern activities teach students the types of patterns, give them hands-on practice making and extending patterns, and build in math discussion to help them understand patterns. 

Students will make patterns with movement, manipulatives, food, and an art project. We’ve included detailed lesson plans, an anchor chart, 8 days of whole group lessons with math worksheets, independent work and center resources.
