This Read It Up creation is an all-inclusive resource designed to accompany the book There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Clover.

The activities in this reading resource allow students to build literacy and comprehension skills. Students will work on making text-to-self connections, identifying real and fantasy, making predictions, writing, vocabulary, sequencing, graphing, and more!

We've included a lesson sequence and detailed lesson plans for 5 days or 8 days. You choose which activities your class needs to complete.

Each activity can be done in a whole or small group, including writing and drawing pages for student responses. We also included essential questions, comprehension and discussion questions, as well as rubrics for retelling and writing.
