Read It Up! The Green Grouch

This Christmas reading comprehension creation is an all-inclusive resource designed to accompany the book about a green grouch who steals Christmas. The activities in this comprehension and writing resource allow students to build literacy and comprehension skills.

Students Will Work On:

• making text-to-self connections and character traits
• making predictions
• writing
• vocabulary
• problem/solution
• CH words
• graphing, and more!

Each activity can be done in a whole group or small group and includes writing and drawing pages for student responses. It also includes essential questions, comprehension, and discussion questions, as well as rubrics for retelling and writing.
