Native American Heroes Research Project

We've done all the work for you to help you guide your students in researching and writing about 13 different Native American heroes. All you have to do is read the suggested books with the students and complete the activities. We've included everything you need such as links to suggested books, fact sheets, labels for anchor charts, and graphic organizers.

Depending on your grade and student abilities, the research can be done in a whole group, small groups, or individually. Learning can be recorded on class charts and in student research journals.

The student pages can be done separately or made into a research journal. I make mine into a book for students to complete as we learn about Native American heroes.
