Phonics Games: Apple Phonics Project: CVC Words, Letters, Sounds, Sight Words

Practice phonics and phonemic awareness with this apples-themed phonics activity. Students will fill their baskets with apples by reading CVC words, sight words, or practicing their letters and sounds. This resource is EDITABLE, so you can adapt it to any skill. Once students create their apple basket, it makes a great fall bulletin board or apple hallway display!

This creation contains over 200 sight words, lowercase letters, and CVC words!

Suggested Use:

Print the words you want to assess. Call students to your table/desk one at a time. Have them read the apples. For every apple, they can read, place a small red dot on that word. Students will color and cut out only the apples with the red dots.
